Colorado Custom is owned and operated by founder Dale Ellington, who has over 35 years of experience as a floor covering installer. His work has been published over the years in many locally and nationally distributed magazines, such as Colorado Lifestyle and Luxe, and has received several awards, including honors from the Parade of Homes and the Junior Design Guild.

Striving to offer top quality installations, as well as educate clients and installers within the ever-evolving flooring industry, Dale and members of his team have become certified flooring inspectors. As technology within products and installation techniques advances, Colorado Custom attends and hosts a multitude of classes and workshops to stay current and promote the best practices within the industry. With this expertise, education, team of project managers and crew force, Colorado Custom is able to handle all sizes and scopes of work- from high end custom homes (in areas such as Buell Mansion, Cherry Hills Village, The Preserve, Hiwan, Riva Chase, Beaver Creek, Aspen and Castle Pines) to commercial work (such as hotels, condo buildings, and medical facilities), to smaller local projects.
