Every project has a unique scope and we will be there along every step of the way to take care of your installation. Each installation is assigned to an individual project manager to oversee your entire project, from beginning to end. They will be available to answer any of your questions, as well as manage the installation crew personally. All communication and requests must be directed to your assigned project manager, or our office, to ensure a well-maintained and organized project. The crews are there to shine in their installation expertise, while our management team is available to assist in your needs and ensure your vision becomes a reality.

Preparing for Your Install

Before the first day of your installation, please make sure that the area is ready to receive your new flooring or wall finishes. Follow these simple steps for a flawless preparation of your project:

  • Clear installation areas completely of all loose items (clothing, shoes, books, decorations, electronics, etc.)- everything must be completely off of the floors.

  • If we are moving basic furniture, please have all loose items on top of the furniture and loose items inside of your furniture completely removed or boxed up and set aside (this includes the bedding on your beds).

  • Remove any protruding wall decorations and secure window draperies.

  • Provide a designated clear and dry area for the crew to stage, cut and prep your materials.

    • For carpet installs, the roll is most commonly 12’, 13’2” or 15’ wide and too heavy and rigid to simply carry inside the property to install. The crew will need access to a large open area outside of the property to unroll and cut the carpet into manageable shots to carry inside, such as a driveway or street in front of the property.

    • For materials that require acclimation, such as hardwood, rubber and vinyl/LVP, we will need to stage the material inside the property within the area it will be installed. This allows the material to acclimate to the intended environment’s temperature and humidity, which is a requirement to most manufacturers. These materials cannot be staged in a garage, shed, outside, or any other non-HVAC controlled environment, as it may void both the manufacturer and installation warranties.

    • For tile and stone, we will also stage the material and sundries at the project prior to the installation date.

  • Make sure the property will be accessible during the crews arrival window and throughout the entire duration of your installation- either a person on site or an applicable garage/lock code. If you cannot be available during that entire arrival window, please contact our office to coordinate having a lockbox put on the project prior to your installation date. We cannot offer timed appointments for installations and do require full day accessibility during the entire installation period, so please plan accordingly for your scheduled installation.

  • Provide the office with the name and phone number of your designated person who will be the point of contact for any questions that may arise during your install.
